About the Team

Our international and agile team is searching for a motivated person to work as intern (m/f/d) Project Manager - Institutional and Future Technologies in the Predevelopment Team, part of the Program Management Department. You enjoy working in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment that aims for high-performance engineering solutions in aerospace technology? Then apply for us.

Your Tasks

  • Support the Predevelopment Team with management and/or take part in projects with external stakeholders (e.g. ESA, governmental institutions)
  • Communicate effectively between company and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate with other departments to generate and provide input to projects’ deliverables (e.g. design files, test plans and reports, presentations)
  • Support the Business Development Department and contribute to proposal writing
  • Help with the definition of future technologies and vehicles of RFA
  • Definition of development roadmaps and timelines to mature space technologies and systems
  • Derive mission and technical requirements for next generation vehicles
  • Perform preliminary design studies and trade offs
  • Create preliminary system and subsystem designs for various in-space services

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's student in Aerospace or Space Engineering or related discipline
  • Prior experience in the space industry or in a technical environment is a plus
  • Prior experience with project management (university teams, previous internships, etc) is a plus
  • You bring technical affinity and you are an enthusiast about New Space
  • Business fluent English oral and written (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
  • Good use of MS Office
  • Strong time management, team player attitude and emotional intelligence
  • Self-independent, proactive and structured way of working
  • Willingness to support and work with other departments
  • Cost and risk awareness and business acumen complete your profile
