Your Tasks

  • Support Production Setup: Assist in the establishment and optimization of new production structures, contributing to the development of efficient workflows and processes.

  • Quality Assurance: Participate in the inspection and quality control processes to ensure that avionics products meet industry standards and specifications, with a focus on helping shape these new procedures.

  • Documentation: Assist in creating and maintaining detailed records of newly developed production processes, test results, and quality checks to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.

  • Technical Support: Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during the initial phases of production setup, working closely with engineers and technicians.

  • Process Development: Contribute to the design and implementation of innovative production processes, influencing the development of efficient and scalable systems.

  • Data Analysis: Analyse early-stage production data to monitor performance, identify trends, and assist in making informed decisions to optimize the evolving production workflows.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain, to help build and refine the production environment.

  • Inventory Management: Assist in setting up inventory management systems for components and materials, ensuring efficient supply chain operations as production scales up.

  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards, contributing to the establishment of a safe and compliant working environment.

Your Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a degree in production engineering, aerospace engineering, electronics engineering, mechanical engineering or an equivalent qualification

  • Basic knowledge of avionics systems, electronics, or related technologies. Familiarity with CAD software, circuit design, or embedded systems is a plus.

  • Previous experience or coursework related to manufacturing, production processes, or avionics systems is advantageous but not required.

  • Motivation to participate in NEW Space

  • Knowledge in production processes

  • Ability to work effectively and independently

  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

  • Fluent oral and written English skills (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
