#### **Senior Radiation Test Engineer****
**

As our Senior Radiation Test Engineer you will be responsible for characterization of radiation environments for our missions and testing analysis for our spacecraft. This position requires hands-on experience validating parts for radiation environments specific to aerospace.

#### **Role**

- Design fault tolerant electrical systems for operating in a radiation environment

- Simulate and model the GTO and GEO radiation environments

- Coordinate and run radiation testing campaigns to upscreen components

- Work with the structures team to determine the proper shielding levels across the spacecraft

- Integrate these systems into the spacecraft by working closely with the rest of the team

- Support other electrical design, bringup, and test activities

- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring additional teammates to our rapidly-growing team.

**Requirements**

- Bachelor of Science degree in nuclear engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent technical field

- A passion for hardware development, including working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on design and development

- Experience with the Geostationary radiation environment (TID, SEE, DDD)

- Experience with designing for and testing for radiation effects

- Experience in testing analog and digital circuits

- Experience with high reliability systems

- US Citizenship or Green Card

#### **Bonus**

- Electromechanical design experience

- Experience running tests at radiation labs

- Experience with designing dosimeter circuits

- ECAD + MCAD Experience (Altium, Solidworks)
