**Vast **is looking for an** IT Support Specialist, **reporting to the** Manager, IT, **to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations. Use this space to describe the role and sell the candidate on the cool stuff they would get to work on.

This will be a **full-time**, **non-exempt** position located in our **Mojave or Long Beach **locations.

**Responsibilities: **

- Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Demonstrated ability to resolve difficult technical issues with limited information

- Provide help desk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction

- Maintains and supports enterprise resources, including laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile phones and other network enabled devices

- Monitor, respond and resolve incidents in an ITSM system while ensuring SLA performance metrics are met. Ex: Jira SM, ZenDesk

- Strong troubleshooting of Windows 10/11 operating system

- Strong troubleshooting of MacOS

- Some understanding of Active Directory or LDAP

- Comfortable replacing hard drives, memory and other computer components

- Onboarding/ offboarding users

- Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required

- Provide support for multiple locations

- Installing, moving, equipment that may weigh up to 50 lbs

**Minimum Qualifications:**

- 2+ years of experience in IT

- Proven experience with ITSM tools

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively

**Preferred Skills & Experience:**

- Experience in a manufacturing environment

- Prior experience working in a fast-paced startup environment

- Familiarity with aerospace industry regulations and standards regarding IT and data

**Pay Range:**

- IT Support Specialist I: $28.00 - $39.00

- IT Support Specialist II: $39.00 - $45.00
